*The current Foundation Syllabus is issue 8 for examinations after 1 July 2011. However syllabus items 8a5 and 8a6 are not being examined at present and the examination paper will consist of 25 questions with a pass mark of 18. That will be rectified shortly and at least 1 month notice will be given on this and the RSGB web sites.
Candidates are advised to study the material relating to 8a.5 and 8a.6 which is covered in the course book Foundation Licence Now Edition 5, 2011 reprint onwards.

Revised Intermediate Syllabus
The June 2009 Intermediate syllabus has been revised to Issue 5a. This is to correct cross-referencing errors in the examination schedule and editorial clarifications in the document. Details of the changes are indicated on page 2 of the document under Document changes.
